Who Qualifies for a 504 Plan in Schools
Students with a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities qualify. This includes conditions like diabetes, allergies, ADHD, or learning disabilities. The impairment must affect learning, but not necessarily require specialized instruction, distinguishing it from an IEP.
